Maddison Harry Life Sciences is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Head of Global Quality. This senior leadership role will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained across our pharmaceutical and biotech operations worldwide. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of global regulatory requirements, quality management systems, and best practices in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Experience in the medical device sector is considered a plus.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement global quality strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Quality Management Systems: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of quality management systems, including quality assurance and control processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products and processes comply with international regulatory standards, including FDA, EMA, and other relevant authorities.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a global team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks associated with product development, manufacturing, and distribution.
  • Audits and Inspections: Manage internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and other departments to ensure quality objectives are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in quality management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a proven track record of leadership in a global setting. Experience in the medical device sector is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) preferred.
  • Expertise: Extensive knowledge of global quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Language: Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
  • Location: Must reside in São Paulo, Brazil, or be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
